Ep. 11 Betsy Tenay and Laura Moreno – If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door

Betsy and Laura are originally from Colombia and México they are serial entrepeneurs that believe that they can change their countries and the world through entrepeneurship. They started their entrepreneurial path less than a year ago and they already have 3 running companies in México and going for more. They just graduated from BYU-Hawaii, which changed their vision and life goals.

Betsy and Laura believes in the phrase, “If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.”  This drove both of them to become successful by taking advantages of great opportunities. They are killing it in Mexico with their buisnesses.  They love facing their fears and overcoming them. They heard a quote saying, “Success begins out of your comfort zone” which is true for them, they love getting out of their own comfort zone.

What motivates these amazing entrepreneurs is the love of families and the love of their people.  They know that being entrepreneurs, it’s like a rollercoaster ride.  You have your high moments and low moments.  It’s all about your mindset and hustling to get the work done.  Be the best version of yourselves and “every master was a disaster”

Success to them is bringing value to others while doing what you love.  Look for sources and mentors.  There are always people willing to help you out.  Also, don’t look for perfection in everything, look for progress.
